At Passion & Pleasure we attach great value to the protection of your personal data. In this privacy policy, we explain how we handle your personal information when you visit our webshop, place an order, or contact us.

- Payment details: Information about your payments and chosen payment method (processed via our secure payment partner Mollie).
- Order history: Information about the products you have purchased from us.
- Account details: Any information you create within a customer account.
- Customer service data: All communication via email or other channels when you contact us.
- Website and device data: IP address, browser characteristics, device type, and surfing behavior on our website via cookies.
3. For what purpose and on what legal basis do we process data?
We process your data exclusively for specific purposes and on the basis of legal grounds:
- Performance of the agreement (order & delivery): We need your data to correctly process, pay for, and deliver your order, and to handle any returns or warranties.
- Legal obligation: Under Dutch tax legislation, we are required to retain our administration (including invoices with name and address details) for a minimum of 7 years.
- Legitimate interest: To improve our webshop, customer service, and the security of our systems.
- Consent: For placing non-essential cookies or sending any marketing communications (where applicable and for which you have given explicit consent).
4. Discretion and confidentiality
Due to the nature of our webshop, we understand better than anyone that privacy and discretion are of the utmost importance:
- Discreetly shipped: All our packages are packaged extremely discreetly and neutrally, without any external indications of the contents or the company name on the outside.
- Strict confidentiality: We will never sell or rent your personal data to third parties for commercial purposes.
5. Sharing data with third parties
We only share your data with third parties if this is strictly necessary for the execution of our services or to comply with a legal obligation. This includes:
- Payment providers: Such as Mollie, for securely processing your transactions.
- Courier services: To deliver your order to the correct address.
- Hosting and e-commerce services: Such as Shopify and our email service providers.
We conclude data processing agreements with all parties that process data on our behalf to guarantee that your data is treated with the same level of security and confidentiality.
6. Retention period
we store your personal data no longer than strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected.
- Customer account: As long as you keep your account active.
- Order and invoice data: A minimum of 7 years in connection with the tax retention obligation of the Dutch Tax Authorities (Belastingdienst).
- Customer service inquiries: A maximum of 2 years after the inquiry has been resolved, unless a legal obligation prescribes otherwise.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
Under privacy legislation, you have various rights regarding your data:
- Right of access: You have the right to view which personal data we process about you.
- Right to rectification: Is something incorrect? Then you can ask us to correct your data.
- Right to erasure: In certain cases, you can ask us to delete your data (except where we are legally obliged to retain it, such as invoices).
- Right to restriction and objection: You can object to the processing of your personal data.

Passion & Pleasure takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.
